My translation services are like a good jacket, they are hand crafted, fit well and look good; they require no further interpretation.

I prepare translations from French into English, capitalising on my knowledge and experience as a lawyer for more than 30 years. My specialist areas are law, property, finance and business, although I also undertake general translations. I have a wide experience of legal translations including pleadings, court judgements, certificates of title and summons as well as reports and exchange of correspondence.

I have undertaken translation work for Perpignan University, who commented that, “The quality of these translations is indisputable”, adding, “to date, no translation we have had has matched this quality and accuracy”.

My objective is to produce a well written document that accurately reflects the French version, and which is easily understood. Where appropriate I like to work directly with the client to produce a document that is not a mere translation of words on a page, but gives effect to the intentions of the author, taking account of the culture being addressed.
